Nobody knew crazy hats like Dr. Seuss.  Not only did he draw them on some of his most iconic characters, but he also had a crazy collection of his own and that collection is currently on display at the New York Public Library 42nd Street branch.  Dr. Seuss often had his guests wear hats from his collection at dinner parties, which I’m sure made for a lively meal.  This is a great idea, particularly if you are having people over who may not get along.  No one can argue when someone is wearing this at the table.

This site describes the exhibit, so check it out.  Also, it’s travelling, so see if your city is on the list!  Here are some gratuitous crazy hat photos from the exhibit.

  I would elbow old ladies to be the one who wears this hat at the Doctor's dinner party.
